Fine Arts Courses
Access to the BCB-Academy is not exclusively limited to the banknote community.
Intaglio enjoys a rich history emanating from the fine arts sector and today it is still considered and exceptional and rare artform. The BCB-Academy aims to support intaglio in its purest and most noble form – as an exclusive and powerful artform and visual communication media.
The Academy has developed a range of educational and development opportunities for fine art students wishing to further pursue their studies in this exceptional field.
In addition the BCB-Academy and its associated group of International Master Engravers welcome all requests for the development of a unique piece of engraved art for private and commercial clients worldwide.
Summer seminars on Fine arts
During the months of July and August, the BCB Academy organizes some summer seminaries.
Symposium of experimental contemporary engraving
Duration: 1 – 2 weeks
Minimum 4 / Maximum 8 participants
Cost: 600 euros per week *
Special course on antique burin carving
Duration: 2 – 3 weeks
Minimum 1 student / Maximum 3 students
Cost: 2000 euros per week *
Courses of:
• Drawing
• Line drawing
• Oil landscape painting
• Natural portrait in oil
Duration: weekly forms
Number of students: min. 5 / max. 10
